Got a call with a robotic american accent warning me about my BT broadband being at risk. They kept going on about some weird stuff like hacking and misuse, saying my service would be disconnected unless I hit 1 to speak to someone. Pretty sure if you do press 1, you’re just opening yourself up to getting ripped off - maybe they try to get you to download malware or switch your phone line to expensive companies like Met Technologies, Guaranteed Telecom, Zoom Telecom, or Millennium Talk. Total scam in my opinion.
