I rang the number and got a recorded message about the “Bank of National” or something like “Rational Embarmouth,” said their BT landline was down. Definitely a dodgy number. Proper annoying. Already reported it to the ICO.

Blocked the number straight away, wasn’t even a word or a beep, just total silence.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying our internet was being checked by some fraudster. He asked me to log into my computer to set up some kind of block. I rang BT afterwards, and they told me straight away it was a scam call trying to hack into our broadband. Really dodgy, so watch out for this one.
