Some bloke called me claiming he was from Openreach (BT) and needed to test my internet speed by linking all my gadgets together. There was that typical background noise and he had that kind of accent you get with these calls. I told him the other side of my house is about 100 metres away, and it’s basically part of the Irish sea estuary - so no, I haven’t just bobbed along it like a cornflake!
