This number 01335 388528 has rang me three times already this week. I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. Never answering just in case!

I received a call from a chap who purported to be with Public Health UK. He had a rather noticeable foreign accent and was after my medical details. He probed about my Covid-19 vaccinations, specifically whether I'd experienced any side effects, and also made inquiries regarding my life insurance policy. Quite concerning, if you ask me.

I got a call on my personal phone from an Asian gentleman who wanted to talk to one of my team. He said it was about their vaccinations. Bit odd he had my direct number, though.

Got a call from an unknown number but didn't pick up. They didn't leave any voicemail either. After seeing what others have said, I'm just going to block it.

I'm fed up with these calls. They keep ringing on both my mobile and landline, but I’ve blocked the numbers. They usually just change the digits a bit to try and sneak through.

Got a call from some public health bloke on that number. Took ages for him to pick up and kept asking if I was alright. I asked where he was calling from, and he said public health again. Then he went back to asking if I was okay, so I just blocked the number.

Have a look at the posts from the 15th of December, about 14 posts before this one. If you're puzzled why the police never seem to act on these scam calls, maybe it’s because no one actually reports them. Until everyone who gets these dodgy calls or texts steps up and reports them, these fraudsters will keep getting away with it. It’s up to us to make a stand and file complaints about scam phone numbers and all sorts of messaging scams straight to the cyber crime unit’s reporting platforms. It’s quick, doesn’t need any sign-up, and honestly, it’s just as easy as posting on here.

Got a call from 01335388528, someone claiming they were from public health asking if I'd had the vaccine. They didn’t bother asking for my name or anything.

This was clearly a scam. They said they were from public health about Covid but it was totally fake. I just ended the call right away. Better to not pick up and just block them. Pure scammers!

Kept getting calls nonstop but no one left a voicemail or anything. Quite annoying really.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Public Health England, but it definitely wasn’t. They had my name and started asking about my recent flu vaccination. Towards the end, they wanted to know if I felt protected given the current state of health and life insurance. That’s when I decided to just hang up.

I got a call yesterday where they said my first name, but never really confirmed if it was actually me, then the call just dropped and they ended it. Just got another ring now but was caught up and couldn’t reach for my phone in time. No voicemail left or anything!

Got a call from this number two times today. Answered both times but the person on the other end just dropped the call straight away. The second time, I stayed on a bit longer and after a moment, a robotic voice said “Please hang up and try again later,” so I ended the call. Pretty sure it’s a scam, didn't bother calling back. Would be great if there was a way to block it. Hope this info helps anyone else!

Someone said they were from Public Health, but the call just cut off before I could figure out why they were calling. I tried ringing them again a few hours later, but there was no reply or voicemail left.
