Just got a call from them after weeks of trying to reach me with 'Ashbourne' showing up on my phone. I ignored it at first but picked up this time. They claimed to be from public health, asking about my Covid vaccinations and if I’d experienced any symptoms. Then they went on to ask if I’d had a flu jab and even about my life insurance and the provider. I kept quiet on that and told them I don’t get involved with that stuff, and that was the end of it.

They claimed to be from the citizen advice and then tried to find out which life insurance firm I'm with. No way would the citizen advice bureau be making cold calls like that!

I just stayed quiet when they rang, thinking it was one of those automated calls, and when I didn’t say anything they ended the call. Then a couple of minutes later I got another call from a different number, maybe from the same company, a call centre asking for details about my house. So, I went ahead and blocked that one as well.
