Most sources claim it’s just another pesky PPI scam outfit. I can’t help but wonder, though, if it was merely someone who couldn’t articulate properly and ended up slurring “Pete In?” instead.

Got a call from 01333 747099 and they just stayed quiet for a solid 10 seconds. Checked out the comments here afterwards, and wow, glad I wasn’t the only one. Luckily, with my iPhone it was easy to block the number straight away!
