this person said they were from bt telling me there was a problem with my internet, and asked me to press 1 to talk to an engineer or 2 to disconnect the service. they faked the number so it showed up as coming from a local caller, not like a blocked or foreign number, probably to trick you into thinking its not from some scam overseas call centre.
