they didn’t even pick up, just cut off the call. this is the second rubbish cold call i’ve had today, really irritating.

Today at about 11.30 in the morning, I got a call from this number claiming to be from some energy-saving firm, saying there was a problem with my loft insulation. The caller asked me about when the insulation was fitted and said they'd do a free check-up tomorrow since someone would be nearby. It all seemed a bit dodgy to me, like some kind of scam. They couldn’t even tell me when the insulation went in, didn’t mention what the actual problem was, and never gave the company’s name.

A caller rang me claiming to be from some energy efficiency firm about loft insulation I'd supposedly bought before. They couldn’t even get my name right! I told them they were daft and ended the call. Honestly, these scammers should face consequences for bothering honest folks like us. They're just preying on naive people who ought to be shielded from such nonsense.

I just ended the call straight away. Judging by what others have said, it seems like these are mostly those annoying cold calls trying to sell something.

Got two calls from them, first time they just hung up straight away. The second time I could hear a lot of shouting in the background before they finally spoke to me. When I asked where they got my number from, they seemed proper annoyed and said it came from someone knocking on my door from another firm. The woman on the phone was really impolite and ended up hanging up on me.
