I got a call from 01332287978 warning me about being involved in tax fraud supposedly from HMRC. The person on the phone hung up really quick when I tried to ask questions. I rang back to tell whoever is on the other side that this is a scam and not to bother. Just a heads up, the number seems dodgy and the caller said they’re from Derby. Don’t answer or engage with them and maybe warn others too. The call was recorded by me just in case.

Got a call from Green Logic sales, told them I’m on the TPS list. The guy just said I better fix that because he managed to get through. Felt like it was my problem to sort, not theirs :(

I received a call from this number on 28th October 2020 at precisely 11:38 in the morning. The moment I picked up, there was nothing but a dial tone. Oddly enough, I had just finished a conversation with an anti-virus company's call centre based in the Philippines, during which I specifically asked them to ensure my number wasn't shared or utilised in any manner. Nonetheless, my phone number has been shifted from BT to Tiscali, and then to Sky over the years, and with each transition, the volume of unsolicited calls I receive seems to have skyrocketed. Clearly, somewhere along the line, my personal details have been mishandled or exposed. Let's be clear, never underestimate how quickly your nuisances can multiply, particularly if you think divine intervention will correct those with dubious motives! This isn't one of those “you've won a prize” calls, but could it be linked in some way?

Some bloke from 'Eco Power' or whatever it was rang saying they were working on my road installing better loft insulation. Thing is, all the houses here are old MOD flats with flat roofs! I told him straight up he was having me on, but he just didn't get it and hung up on me!

It's like getting a call about a crash you never got into, they have no clue about how your home’s insulation really is! A relative of mine, who’s elderly, ended up losing £5000 to a woman who said she’d been up in her loft for an inspection - mind you, she didn’t even have a ladder with her! The firm’s name might have changed, but it’s still a con. Watch out for handing over details to random cold callers, they pass them on and before you know it, you’re swamped with even more calls.

I got a call on my landline number 01332899317 from a bloke called Eddie Dawson who said he was ringing from Green Homes Ltd in Derby. He promised to fix some insulation that apparently was dodgy before. I told him I'd want it all in writing before doing anything and that I’d be checking with other companies about my house first. We didn’t go much further than that. :)

Got a call from some firm about home insulation saying our old loft insulation might be breaking down and offered to check it out. Nope, not falling for that.
