Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC saying I'd overpaid tax and that I’d be arrested in under an hour because there was a warrant out for me. Then they rang back from another number saying they couldn’t hear me properly. They asked for my name and address, and said I owed more than £1000 in tax. I’ve been with the same company for nearly a decade, so it sounded really fishy. I told them to get lost and, surprise surprise, no arrests yet!
