Had a rather peculiar phone call today (17th February 2016). I terminated my Sky subscription a fortnight ago. They mentioned something regarding my final invoice, and when I queried what details they needed, the line went dead after a rather long pause. The lady introduced herself as "Shaz". I attempted to return the call (with 141 beforehand), but was met with a recorded message stating, "This call may be on behalf of Sky." This just reinforces my decision to sever ties with Sky. Utterly ridiculous.

Just a week ago, I decided to terminate my Sky subscription, and ever since, I've been receiving calls from this particular number. Each time I pick up, there’s silence on the other end, just an eerie quiet before it disconnects. After seeing what others have said about it, I reckon I’ll simply ignore any further calls from them.

After perusing some of the comments here, I was ready for them when they requested my personal details. I politely declined, questioning why their caller ID didn’t identify them as Sky. The lady on the phone became rather irate, threatening they’d continue to ring me. I decided to ring Sky directly to inquire if there were any outstanding matters about my final bill. The representative checked my account and confirmed there was nothing to address-definitely not them making those calls. So, I’ve blocked the number. While it could potentially be the Sky retention team or something similar, it has absolutely nothing to do with my actual final bill-it's best to keep your details to yourself if you get a call from them.
