Got a call claiming to be from BT, saying there was something wrong with my internet. I asked what they had to do with my service and the bloke, sounded Indian, just started rambling on. I ended the call pretty quick. Funny to see others mentioning this number about train tickets - I’ve had a few calls like that from the same number too, so they seem to cover all bases. Definitely looks like a scam. Watch out people!

Got repeated calls from someone wanting me to verify a payment of £120 supposedly for a train ticket from Edinburgh to London. Was pretty clear it's dodgy since they never mentioned which bank they were calling from! Definitely a scam if you ask me.

I got a call from some recorded message pretending to be my bank, asking me to verify if I made a payment for a train ticket or not.

Got a robotic message claiming I’d bought a ticket from some random place to “Saint Pancreas” station - yeah, they really said that! Then it told me to press 1 if I hadn’t bought it, which just seems like an invitation for some scammer to get access. It’s so clearly just a mass call with zero care for who they’re bothering, hoping someone gullible will fall for it and let them in. Proper sketchy behaviour.

Oh, it’s that Visa security team again. Honestly, you’d think they’d come up with something fresh by now - the same old lines every time!

Got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, saying £600 was withdrawn and loads of cash sent overseas. Total scam! Don’t press any buttons or follow what they say. Just end the call. If you’re worried, only call your bank using the number found on your bank statement. Stay safe!
