What an utterly discourteous individual! They bellowed at me and flatly refused to disclose the name of their company. To add insult to injury, they wouldn’t adhere to GDPR protocols to take me off their contact list. Instead, they insisted that it was my responsibility to sort that out while keeping their identity shrouded in mystery and denying me the chance to speak with a manager or anyone else. Quite the outrage, if you ask me!

got a call from a lady with a glasgow accent claiming she was from energy scotland. she asked if i owned the house, what sort of property it was, details about the insulation i had, and if anyone over 75 lived there. the call kept dropping, so she rang me back on her mobile but didn't show her number. she thanked me and said someone from sales would be in touch soon. guess we’ll wait and see.

@ bloke said he was offering loft conversions or insulation work. When I questioned him, he said his records showed I was in a g42 area and that I didn’t have a loft. He apologised a lot after that. I haven’t had a g42 postcode for over 20 years. So his old database obviously didn’t know that this number’s on the telephone preference service either. Blocked him straight away. The area code he called from was Falkirk.

Got a call on my mobile but as soon as I picked up they hung up, so I rang back on my landline since the number looked local. A guy called Dan answered, said he was in Dublin which seemed odd because the number was meant to be from Grangemouth. Felt like a scam to me since he didn’t even try to sell anything. I told him I’d report it and he didn’t seem bothered. He mentioned it was a UK logistics company and maybe one of their employees, just found the whole thing a bit fishy when he took my return call.

It's quite baffling, isn’t it? You get these calls, and as soon as you pick up, they hang up. Then if you dare to return the call, you're met with a message saying the number's not valid. It really is an exasperating use of time for everyone involved!
