As soon as I answered the call and detected a chap with an Indian accent, I promptly disconnected. He was pretending to represent Scottish Power, but I didn’t hang around to find out more.

I received a call from a firm named CTC, supposedly representing Scottish Power. What a complete and utter nuisance!

Whenever I get a call from an unknown number and I’m curious who it could be, I usually pick up but just stay silent. Almost every time, there’s a quick click and then the call drops. If I pick up and hear noise or people talking in the background, I just put the phone down straight away. If they’re legit, they’ll always leave a voicemail.

They keep ringing my partner’s mum non-stop, and every time she picks up, they just hang up straight away and call again. I tried calling back, but when I dial, it just goes dead with no answer. Somebody really needs to block these numbers!
