So I got a call from a woman claiming it was a survey. She started by giving me my full name and a previous address I lived at. I asked where she’d gotten those details from, and then she put me on hold. After a moment, she returned and just said, “madam, I need to confirm it’s you,” and then she ended the call. Quite strange!

Got a call from an unfamiliar number last night but missed it. Decided to look it up here since I’d just dealt with a spam call earlier from a different unknown caller. Pleased I checked because it was obviously another annoying nuisance call. These keep coming all the time now, sometimes even three separate calls a day, all from various numbers probably to avoid being blocked. Really annoying!
