Got a cold call the other day about market research, and the moment I asked who they were, they just hung up. Tried asking to be taken off the list, and they cut me off immediately. From what I know, the Market Research Society’s code actually bans this kind of calling. Plus, usually you’re meant to get paid for taking part. Best to just not pick up or talk to them at all.
