Phone number ☎️ 01322750780 πŸ‘† is reported as a persistent scam number using automated, threatening messages falsely claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. Callers warn of urgent legal action or tax debts, pressuring recipients - often targeting elderly and vulnerable individuals - to call back immediately. The messages feature poor audio quality, robotic or foreign-accented voices, and sometimes misleading names like β€œOfficer Eric Foster” or β€œLisa Williams.” Genuine HMRC never contact via automated calls or demand immediate payment by phone. Victims are advised not to respond or provide personal information, to block the number, and report the scam to authorities. These nuisance calls cause significant distress but appear linked to criminal operations outside the UK. Vigilance and skepticism are essential to avoid falling victim.

Today, I answered a rather alarming phone call featuring a recorded message from someone claiming to be Lisa Williams. The tone was quite menacing, and I was relieved it was me who picked up, as my husband suffers from dementia and would have been profoundly upset by such a message. It's truly appalling how some individuals operate in such a nefarious manner; they ought to be apprehended and face consequences for their actions.

I received two phone calls today, it being Saturday, the first one arriving at half eight in the morning. The recorded message was identical to the previous one I encountered. This sort of thing could be quite distressing, particularly for our older generation. It’s high time these practices were put an end to and those responsible held accountable!

I received a rather distressing call from this number. Being 76, I nearly had a heart failure on the spot! Thankfully, I decided to look up the number online and it was reassuring to discover that others have fallen victim to the same scam. It’s truly disheartening to think about the sad individuals behind such a malicious scheme.

Just like the comment before, this is obviously a scam. They wouldnt bother if they didnt trick anyone though. Its worrying for anyone who gets scared easily. Luckily I have caller ID and usually just ignore numbers I know are scams. After a while you get quite good at spotting them! This one was a bit different since they actually left a voicemail.

absolute crooks. Got a voicemail on my answerphone saying I had some urgent legal action taken out against me. Obviously a total scam - not sure what the con artists hope to gain but it’s really nasty and this kinda thing could seriously scare folks. Maybe we should all band together and take legal action against them!

I just had a rather alarming call from this number, which played a pre-recorded message filled with menacing threats allegedly from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. To make matters more absurd, there was another voice intruding, shouting something about an AVS media demo. It’s quite laughable that HMRC would rely on such shoddy technology, complete with a "watermark". I genuinely hope that nobody falls prey to these shady characters!

I got a voicemail from a Lisa Williams purporting to be from HMRC, rubbing it in about a so-called "serious lawsuit" and leaving a callback number. She didn’t seem to mention anyone by name though. Naturally, I called back straightaway, only to be greeted by a man who bizarrely inquired whether I was my deceased brother. As soon as I told him who I was, he hung up on me without hesitation. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

01322 is a Dartford area code, and it's definitely not connected to HMRC as their offices aren't located there. The call usually plays a pre-recorded message about supposed court action against you, but if you think about it, they must be sending this to loads of people, and not all of them have any court cases. This is a scam, so don't pick up, and never share any personal details. With so many people reporting this, it's baffling that nothing has been done yet. Surely BT can track where these calls are coming from based on the number.

I received a call like that yesterday, and it was quite alarming for my elderly relatives when I shared it on Facebook. Additionally, there was a mention of a number to reach Officer Lisa Williams at 1322750782. I initially feared it might be one of those premium-rate lines. Honestly, if there are that many of these pesky calls, they ought to have their phone lines taken away!

Just got a call from this number saying I owe tax and could be taken to court with fines over £35,000. Really scary stuff, honestly they should be locked up for doing this.

Rang my 87 year old mother in law and absolutely terrified her. Someone needs to put a stop to this, its just not on.

My mum got a call from some scammer pretending to be from HMRC. They were totally fake. Really intimidating and proper frightened her. They kept ringing her like 20 times within an hour and still haven't stopped. These awful people should be stopped - it’s brutal scaring older folks like that. They’re obviously not even from the UK as they asked for zip codes and mobile numbers. Total scam.

I received a robocall claiming to be from "HMRC," threatening legal action. It's infuriating that these con artists can operate with such impunity. Why on earth aren't they being brought to justice? 😑

Like others have said, got a threatening call too. Now the message claims it’s from HMRC. Maybe they’re checking the reviews here. Best just to ignore it altogether.

Got a call with a robotic voice saying I owe thousands in tax and to ring HMRC on some number, asking for “Agent Foster” and giving a ridiculously long extension. They kept saying it was my final warning and if I didn’t pay, I'd be taken to court. Honestly, these scammers are a bloody joke but really sinister, especially since they seem to be going after older folks like me. If you get a call like this, just hang up straight away. Don’t bother waiting till the end where they weirdly tell you to “Have A Blessed Day” after all their threats. Are they serious? Really?

This morning at 8:50, I found a rather unsettling message on my voicemail. It was an automated voice warning me of possible legal proceedings from HMRC unless I got in touch with one Officer Eric Foster. Clearly, it's a scam that's far from subtle!

I blocked my number and called them back, but when I refused to share any details, the guy told me to "go f*ck myself" and then just ended the call. Real classy. DEFINITELY think they might be fake. Ha!

Me mum rang all upset, saying she'd had a call from this number saying she owed tax she never even heard of. I phoned them back to see what it was, but the bloke just hung up straight away. Looks like they're going after older folk - there really should be some sort of warning out for pensioners!

Got the same recorded message claiming there was suspicious activity on my bank account and they needed my bank info right away. Said I had to call back straight away or there’d be big trouble. I’m a retired person.

The individual claimed to be Officer Jason Smith, with a badge number of 16108. He provided a case number and mentioned something about an HMRC audit revealing that I supposedly owed £1980. He threatened to seize my bank account and take legal action against me. At that point, I informed him I would verify his identity with the police and promptly ended the call. Following that, I conducted some research online.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be Eric Foster at HM Revenue and Customs about a big legal issue. I just ended the call straight away. The number they used was 01322750780. Such a stressful call to get. I dont understand why these calls cant be tracked down and blocked properly.

I received a rather intimidating call that turned out to be a scam. To be honest, I nearly fell for it, but the jumbled automated voice gave it away, not to mention the fact they never mentioned my name at all. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Heard the same monotone voice, but only caught the last bit cause my answerphone picked it up. Heaps like a robo call. Sounded American and mentioned "Customs" instead of HMRC - makes me a bit suspicious. I'm a tax expert and honestly, HMRC wouldn’t go about things like that, so I'm thinking of giving them a ring to check it out!

My elderly mum got a proper threatening call and it shook her up bad. It’s horrible that stuff like this happens. Really grateful for this website coz it’s helped calm her down a bit. Makes me sad thinking about older folks on their own with no one to protect them from these annoying calls.

Received a similar call today around 5:10 PM. If it had truly been HMRC, they definitely wouldn’t reach out via a messaging service. Clearly a scam! Here’s hoping they get nabbed soon!

Today, this number rang through on two occasions. On the first call, they left a rather alarming voicemail, insisting I return the call and warning of serious legal repercussions if I didn't respond promptly. When they rang a second time, I ended the call immediately upon realising it was the same dreary spiel. Subsequently, I informed BT about these occurrences, and they verified that these calls were indeed part of a scam operation.
