Received a call from a number I don’t recognise, and there was no voicemail or text accompanying it. Quite puzzling!

Rang once without a word and then disconnected.

Is this a scam?

This is my inaugural experience with this number, and I daresay it will also be my final one.

I've had a few calls from this number, and to be honest, it feels a bit dodgy. Don’t think it’s the real deal.

Fraudster alert!

Received a call from a number listed as Fort Augustus. When I picked up, they hung up immediately. I've flagged it as a scam and gone ahead and blocked the number.

They just ended the call abruptly.

Claimed to be representing Carphone Warehouse. Definitely a con artist.

Unfamiliar number, I didn’t answer it. Jotted it down and decided to check this site to see if anyone has reported it.

I received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they disconnected. When I tried to return the call, it just rang out without answer. My phone has flagged it as a possible scam. I've decided to block the number and reported it to Ofcom for good measure.

I've received several calls from this particular number, but there's never anyone on the other end when I pick up. It's quite frustrating dealing with these sorts of calls. I’m really curious to find out how they managed to acquire my phone number!

I received a call on my mobile from 01320 444015, but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead. Quite the nuisance, really!

I've received calls from an unidentified number that appears to be from St Augustine in Scotland. They keep ringing, but only for a brief moment before hanging up, and there’s no voicemail left behind. After doing a bit of digging on this site, I've decided to go ahead and block them.

They were pushing me to consider upgrading my mobile device.

It's best not to claim you're the individual they're pursuing, as that could lead to ongoing harassment for those past debts.

The person on the other end didn't utter a word.

Mysteriously, the phone rang without uttering a single sound.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, promising me discounts on the iPhone 13.

They disconnected as soon as I picked up the call.

There was nothing but silence on the line before they abruptly disconnected the call.

The call was eerily quiet before abruptly disconnecting.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Carephone, but honestly, I couldn’t make head or tail of what they were saying.

A complete lack of sound.

Fraudulent number posing as Carphone Warehouse! Fortunately, my background in telecoms helped me catch on to the ruse quite swiftly. This is definitely not an authentic number.

They rang claiming to be from O2 and immediately launched into a sales pitch.

I picked up the call, but they just cut me off without a word.

I just had a right old bother trying to decipher what the chap at Carphone Warehouse was saying, his thick Scottish accent had me scratching my head!
