The lady spoke in English that was hard to make out, but since the number looked local, I asked her to say it again. I tried to nicely explain I wasn’t interested, yet she kept going on. It sounded like she was offering some sort of funeral plans? If this turns out to be a scam, it’s worrying because it might trick those who are more vulnerable to these calls.

This is totally a scam, they just ring you and suddenly there's a fee for picking up. Avoid it!
