4 yearsI've received some dodgy calls from individuals probing into whether I've been part of a car accident.4 yearsHe rang me up and started asking if I was part of a builders guild or something. He kept mentioning loads of local businesses he supposedly contacted. I asked him to email me the info, but he suddenly got snotty, said I wasn’t interested and just hung up. Bit of a tosser, if you ask me.4 yearsI got a voicemail saying my national insurance card was out of date and that if I didn’t get back to them, I’d be in trouble with the law.4 yearsI tried looking up this number but couldn’t find much about it. However, it’s clear that quite a few folks are searching for it - I spotted it on a few similar sites. Also, there are other numbers very close to this one, just the last couple of digits change, so I’m guessing it’s the same call centre using different lines. Most likely they’re ringing up with various offers from different companies, but it looks like it’s one general call centre behind them all. Has anyone actually picked up when this number or others like it have called?4 yearsI called back after they hung up, but I’m sure this is a scam. Don’t trust it at all. The number seems to be a newly set up landline and the person on the other end sounded foreign.4 yearsGot a call from some dodgy folks, reckon they're calling from South Africa about "your car crash". Bit freaky though, they actually knew the name of the person they were ringing. Makes me wonder if info has somehow slipped out from a Scottish & Southern Energy (which I think goes by OVO now) call centre over in SA, cos we had to sort something with them not long ago.South AfricaScottish & Southern EnergyOVO4 yearsJust got a call and when I picked up there was nothing on the other end. Pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls.Submit Your Own Report (0131 581 5376)
