Got a call from this number just now around 8:35pm. When I picked up, I could hear loads of men talking in the background, but they cut off the call straight away. My phone showed it was an Edinburgh number, which is really strange since I’m nowhere near there and don’t know anyone from that area.

I get calls from this number a couple times daily, but they never say anything or leave a voicemail. When I pick up, it’s just silence. So I ended up blocking it.

They asserted they were from the Department of Work and Pensions, yet when pressed, all they could offer was a rather vague "we're the DWP." Very unconvincing, to say the least!
