Got a call from some insurance folks asking if I’d been in an accident recently. Felt like one of those sketchy types trying to snag my bank info. Definitely seemed dodgy.

i wasnt really clear on the company name, had to ask a couple times as they werent making much sense. sounded like a ppi type call. they did know my name and postcode and said they wouldnt ask for account details. but then kept asking what bank i was with, almost like they were just throwing out names of loads of banks. best to just ignore it unless you're actually chasing ppi.

Usually I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, but while we were waiting for our takeout, I thought why not. After a bit of silence on the other end, I said hello and the bloke just called me a “slag.” I had a little laugh then ended the call. Being Scottish myself, I could tell straight away it was one of us having a bit of fun. Seems like someone had spare time on their hands! 😂🤣

Got a call from someone pretending to be me, basically using the fake name I have for all my random email sign-ups. I’m pretty sure only my Gmail account has that info. They rang me two times, with just about 20 minutes between each call.

They asked me for my name and I cheekily said "suck my plums". Then they answered back with "Alright, Mr suck my plums". I just ended the call right there!

I received a call on my mobile from this number. It’s peculiar, as hardly anyone possesses my digits, leading me to believe it was dialled via an automated system. The moment I picked up, the line went silent.

Absolutely useless number - kept calling me non-stop even after I asked them to stop. Sounded like some dodgy telemarketer trying to sell something. Ignored them most of the time, but it was annoying having my phone ring at all hours. Wouldn't bother answering if it pops up again.
