I received a call from this number, claiming to be an insurance provider. It turns out to be a scam, absolute nonsense!

Received a phone call from what they referred to as Assure Insurance, claiming there was a car insurance claim registered in my name. I informed them that I had no such claim, to which they replied, “Alright then, thank you, <my name>. I’ll remove you from our list.” I promptly ended the call. After doing a bit of sleuthing, I discovered that the number belongs to AQL Wholesale Ltd. A quick peek at Companies House revealed that the individual at the helm of this company has their fingers in around 14 other pies as well! Quite the business network, it seems.
