This number rang me claiming to be from some insurance firm, but honestly it was just a total scam, nothing but rubbish.

Had a ring from someone who mentioned Assure Insurance, claiming I had a claim on my vehicle. I told them no, that wasn’t the case, and they just said alright thanks <my name>, I’ll remove you from the list. Then I ended the call. Afterwards, I looked up the number and saw it belongs to AQL Wholesale Ltd. A quick look on Companies House showed that the sole director still running it also has about 14 other companies under their name!
