About two hours before, I got a call from 0131 381 3122 which lasted nearly a minute, and then 15 minutes ago, 0131 381 1310 rang my phone for about a minute but I didn't pick up. My number hasn’t been getting calls for well over a year and a half since it's only used for family emergencies, so I'm pretty sure these must be spam or scam calls.

When I mentioned that the email domain didn’t strike me as authentic, the chap on the other end became rather irate and abruptly hung up on me. How odd!

They attempted to sell me a SIM upgrade on behalf of Currys, despite the fact that I don't even hold an account with them. I spoke to a supervisor about it, but they abruptly cut the call without addressing any of my concerns. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

The voice was really faint but sounded like an Indian woman working from some call centre. I caught her mentioning some sort of mobile deal, but the line was so muffled I could hardly make it out. I asked her to say that again, but it didn’t get any clearer. So, I just told her "No thanks" and ended the call straight away.
