I got a robo call from a woman saying she was from 'bank security' regarding two charges on my card. I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, there should be more done to block these scam calls. I’m lucky I know about this stuff, but so many older folks probably fall for it. It’s sad how some people will try to take advantage like that - makes you realise how tough the world can be.

I received a phone call from someone who spoke with a distinctly foreign accent. He introduced himself as being from the "Debt Management Department" and went on to say that there was a government programme in place that could help slash my debts by a whopping 40%. The thing is, I've never had any debts to begin with, which led me to think this was just a dodgy attempt to con me.

I reckon this number might be connected to another Cheltenham one, 01242 438742, which also tries to sell ‘debt relief’. Seems like they're targeting the elderly and more vulnerable people. As soon as you question them, they just cut the call immediately!

They called me up and asked if I was interested in some money to clear my debts. Weird thing is, they already had all my info like my address and birth date. When I told them I wasn’t interested, they just ended the call straight away. Quite odd if you ask me.

The person on the line claimed that I had outstanding debts. When I explained that I didn't owe anything, they abruptly terminated the call.
