Had a rather peculiar call this morning at half past nine. The person on the line wanted to know if I was indeed Mrs. ........., which I confirmed. Then, rather oddly, he inquired whether I had a washing machine and its age. Next, he wanted to ascertain if I was over the age of 61. At that point, I decided it was best to end the conversation-definitely felt like a scam to me, clearly fishing for my personal details. It's quite disconcerting how much they seemed to know about me already, and I can’t help but worry about the information I inadvertently verified as being accurate.

Now, I’m left feeling rather anxious about how much he actually gleaned from our brief exchange and what else he might have been trying to uncover with those seemingly innocent queries.
