Got two calls today from someone saying they were with Beer52, which I’d already cancelled ages ago like a few others here. Picked up on the second ring and saw the number was flagged as spam. The guy sounded super pushy, trying to sell me a box of Dutch beers from Amsterdam for just ten quid. Right now I’m not up for risking ten quid, so I said no thanks. The bloke kept on chatty, mentioning they’d send regular emails and ended on a friendly note. I’d be careful and avoid making any deals on the phone just to stay safe.

I've been inundated with two to three calls daily from Beer/Wine52 for quite a stretch now, all in a bid to get me to reactivate a subscription I had a real struggle canceling in the first place. They’re clearly lacking my proper consent and are flouting the PECR regulations. I'm taking action by reporting them to the ICO and strongly encourage others to follow suit.
