I got a call from someone claiming to be with legal at auto assist asking if I’d got a second payment for a crash in the past couple years. I told them I haven’t had any crashes or payments at all. They then asked if anyone else living with me had been in a crash but I live on my own. After that, they said they must have the wrong details and just ended the call. Honestly, best bet is to just not pick up if this number rings.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from the Legal Team at some company mumbo jumbo, saying it was about a car accident I supposedly had. I was like, "what accident?" and he goes on about my info coming from the "UK Insurance Group". I asked what that even meant and he rambled something about it being a big parent company for all insurance in the UK. I kept him chatting since I wasn’t busy, but eventually told him he was talking nonsense and ended the call. Have blocked the number since then.
