Got a ring from a call centre about some "accident" I supposedly had last month, asking if I wanted compensation. I asked for the manager's name and a direct contact number, then told them they had no consent to handle my info under GDPR rules. I also said I'd be filing a complaint against them and their firm. The call ended straightaway.

Got loads of calls about an accident claim I supposedly made. When I say they’ve got the wrong person, they just don’t care and keep ringing back. Even after blocking numbers, they still manage to call like crazy every day. They use loads of numbers all starting with 0131 204 - 8720, 8721, 8723, 8724, 8725, and 8726. It's proper annoying!

It’s the usual thing for me too. I get calls all the time with the same spiel. Every time I tell them to take me off their list, they just cut the call straightaway. I block one number, like the one ending in ***23, then the very next day another call pops up from ***24, then ***25 and it never ends. It’s so frustrating. Is there any way to actually stop them?

I looked up a number I didn’t pick up earlier today and came across your post. You might want to try signing up with the TPS online, it’s helped me cut down on most of those annoying sales calls. When I tell them I’m on the list and ask for their name, plus remind them it’s illegal to call me, they usually back off pretty quick. Worth trying anyway!

They called me one time but left no voicemail. I thought it was one of those spam calls, and you lot just confirmed it. I've now blocked the number and flagged it as spam, so it automatically gets reported to my phone company.
