Got a call from Jake claiming to be with “Auto Assistance” or something similar insurance. When I told him to take me off the call list and never ring again, he replied "fine, after this call but you gotta tell me if you were in a crash or not." I told him straight “that’s personal info, I’m not sharing it, just delete my number,” and then he started getting pushy, asking “why are you ignoring info about payments?” Definitely not impressed. In September, I got a call from these people about an incident I was involved in. I must admit, I was a tad wary at first. However, after a lengthy process lasting around 12 weeks, I found myself receiving compensation for my accident. To my surprise, I was issued £1800, an amount my previous insurance provider never informed me I was eligible for! This experience forced me to switch insurers, as it’s evident that the real villains here are those insurance firms - pocketing our premiums year in, year out, yet failing to deliver when it matters most.
