11 yearsI received a call today from the aforementioned number regarding "the traffic incident you’ve been involved in"-the catch is, I’ve not been in any such incident! I informed the caller that cold calling for business purposes without prior consent is against the law, but she persistently claimed they operated under Ministry of Justice authorisation. I pointed out that such permission only applies if they were aware of an accident, rather than reaching out on a whim. She became rather irritable when I requested that my information be removed from their list, advising me to be more polite! When she asked me to verify my address, I naturally declined to provide it. I pressed for the name of the company to file a complaint, and she mentioned EMS-though she then rambled on about how my efforts were futile since their actions were within legal bounds.
