In the end, the guy, who sounded like he was from Asia, said he thought his mate was legit and even got a bit emotional, saying he might look into it and maybe quit if it turned out to be a scam. Whether he was genuine or not, I don’t know. But at least he didn’t start throwing insults or threats at me like most do - which just makes me laugh. For them to actually carry out those threats, they’d have to show up face to face, not hide behind a phone line.
