Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC telling me to call a specific number and not to ignore it. Totally dodgy, so I just blocked the number straight away!

So today I got a call from a doctor, and at first I was confused about the reason. But then he reminded me about an appointment I completely missed. We ended up rescheduling it and had a lovely little conversation.

Someone rang me up pretending to be from HMRC, asked for my personal info and warned me about a subpoena coming through the post soon. Total scam, I’ve already reported it to HMRC.
