had a call early in the morning, like just before 8, from a lady with some kind of foreign accent saying she was from the telephone preference service. something felt off when she started asking about my direct debit card info. i just let her go on for a bit, then said i never signed up for any service like that. she just ended the call after that, which made me sure it was a scam.
