If you get a call from 01293906719, I’d say don’t answer it. They’re definitely not from your bank’s security team.

I just ignored the call since the number wasn’t saved. Got those annoying alerts from my bank about some £300 payment and another £1100 one supposedly from abroad to Amazon or something. Honestly, these scammers are just a nightmare!

This number keeps showing up on my phone, even though it doesn't actually ring, just shows a missed call. My phone flagged it as a likely scam so I blocked it straight away. They’ve been trying to get through for days but never bother leaving a message. If they were legit, I’m sure they’d leave a voicemail instead of just calling repeatedly.

No one said a word when they rang me.

Got a call from some number in Crawley earlier, the usual annoying spam that seems to be a daily thing now. I just hung up and blocked them straight away. These calls from all over the UK are just pointless scams and bother me no end, so I've decided to just ignore them completely. Really hope no one falls for these tricks and gives them any chance to waste their time.

I received a call from an Asian chap named Jack, who claimed to be from the Housing Disrepair Department. Oddly enough, he addressed me by my first name.

I had no clue what the person was going on about, but it sounded like they were talking about fixing up housing, leaks or maybe some free inspection because they thought I rented from them. They were really shocked when I said I don’t rent from them at all. Told them to get lost.

Just got a pesky call from someone claiming they do house repairs, but it sounded fishy. Definitely one of those annoying nuisance calls.

If you scroll down two comments from here, you'll find a clear guide on how to deal with these scam calls. Imagine if all the many folks across the UK who get these dodgy calls or messages did the same - the police and government would have to pay attention and crack down on these crooks. We can't just rely on others to act. It’s honestly quick and easy to do. I've bookmarked the ‘Action Fraud’ website and even reached out to my MP, who gave quite a surprising reply. But it won’t help unless more people get on board with this.

I got a call from this number (01293906719), it seemed like a landline. The person claimed they were from some credit investigation team. They said they were assisting me in clearing debts I supposedly have. The funny thing is, I don’t owe anyone any money at all. So who do these people think they are?!

These people are a total scam, acting like they’re from some official government office. They’re just trying to trick you into giving your bank info for some dodgy fraud scheme. Be careful!

Got a voicemail from a US-style robotic voice saying something like "thank you for contacting ARC advice, all our consultants are currently engaged, we will return your call soon". The number showed up as from Crawley. Pretty sure it’s just a scam.

I asked him where he grabbed my details from, and he just told me to piss off. But apparently with the new data laws, you can actually ask them to explain where they got it and make them delete it if you want.
