Today, I received a rather alarming phone call from an odd chap whose accent was quite noticeable. He went on about me facing potential jail time for some so-called tax dodging. Honestly, I don’t owe the taxman a single farthing! It's absolutely ludicrous! This bloke is nothing but a con artist and frankly, he ought to be the one behind bars, not me!

Got a call from some place called Stop Debts, seems like they’re trying to push you into an IVA or something. Be careful with them.

Got one claiming to be from HMRC, sounds like just another telemarketing spam call. Probably some robocall checking if your number’s active (and if you’re gullible). Best to just block it straight away.

this number has been ringing me off and on the past week, always with different stories like bank fees or legal threats. whenever i pick up, sometimes no one talks back. it’s the usual scammy stuff. but when my missus answers, they suddenly start chatting.
