I’ve come across a funeral service that offers affordable packages, especially if they’re part of Dignity. Dignity is a nationwide group here in the UK where smaller funeral directors team up to keep costs down and compete with the larger companies. It’s a bit odd they’d be ringing people out of the blue though, so I’d be cautious if you get a call from this number.
