118… it’s one of those pre-screening calls from a telesales company. They mention giving you a free listing, then connect you to another person who pushes various products to try and make a sale. Right from the start I said I wasn’t interested in buying anything and they promised there wouldn’t be any selling involved. But of course, that’s exactly what happened. I saved this number because it’s a total dodgy setup.

So this person called and referred to our company, asked if that was right, which it was. Then said they were from 118 and wanted to verify some info. After that, they asked if I was the owner and could approve payments. I said no to both, and they just ended the call. I don’t get why they’d want permission for payments if they’re just confirming details?

Picked up the call and there was some radio or telly noise in the back. I said hi and they just ended the call straight away.
