There was a pause before someone spoke, then a man with a strong Indian accent said he was calling from O2’s promotions team. He asked how much I was paying for my mobile, and when I told him that wasn’t for him to know, he claimed he was only trying to help me save money. I told him he ought to be embarrassed and find an honest job. He then wished me a pleasant day and ended the call. Oddly, after hanging up, my phone started making weird clicking sounds and even though I could still dial out, the noises only stopped once I restarted the device.

I mentioned that I'm rocking a 256Gb iPhone 13 Pro, bundled with a 20Gb data plan for a mere £36 a month, thanks to a family discount. The chap on the line quickly claimed he could switch me to a Pro Max for just £22 per month. Total dodgy behaviour, if you ask me! 🧐 SCAAAAAAM!

I didn’t bother staying on the call and just blocked the number straight away. Definitely looks like a scam to me.
