Got a call from a guy with an American accent, kept saying “ma’am!” claiming he was from some “Domestic and General Appliance refunds” here in London. He said I was owed money for appliances from a place I lived ages ago - like, twenty years back, which seemed nuts. He mentioned my name, address, and postcode, probably grabbed from the BT directory, but the moment I told him I never dealt with their firm, he just hung up. Pretty sure he was fishing for my bank info.
