What a total rip off! When I nicely told them I’m not interested and asked them to take me off their list, they were so rude about it. I ended up blocking their number, but then another one popped up with just a couple of digits changed, pretending to be from the same company. I’ve had to firmly tell them to quit hassling me.

I've had three calls today from the number 01282570743, the first one was pretty early. When I answered, they said the call was being recorded and tried to pretend they were calling from O2. My phone shows the area code as Burnley. I ended up blocking the number. Later, they rang twice more around 5:23 pm. The annoying bit is they mentioned an upgrade, but honestly, I just upgraded a couple of weeks ago. What’s the point of all these calls? It’s just getting on my nerves now, feels like harassment.

Loads of scammers ring up saying they’re from different phone providers and talk about some upgrade offer. Then they say they’ll send you a one-time code which apparently gives you a discount, but really it’s so they can get into your account and do dodgy stuff. Definitely a scam.
