Brighter Homes Solutions in Harlow is a bit of a disappointment, isn't it? It's quite disheartening that some folks can't even be bothered to feign recognition of what’s truly going on. It seems rather obvious, yet many prefer to turn a blind eye.

Just a quick note-recently received a call from 01279406977, from some folks claiming they had a £250 voucher to offer us. Not long after, another ring came through from a supervisor who assured us she could help us save even more cash. They managed to book an appointment and ended up saving us £4000 compared to other quotes we had gathered. So overall, I can't complain about their call. I'm sharing this here because once we initially scheduled the appointment, we did a bit of digging to confirm they were legit; I’d definitely consider engaging with them again if the opportunity arises!

A lady rang up in search of our mother, and when we informed her that she wasn’t in, we offered to assist her in any other way. Her reaction, however, was rather rude; she simply said, "no do not hatter," dropping the 't's' as if they were too much bother. We can’t help but find such lack of manners utterly dreadful. It’s irritating enough to deal with unsolicited calls, but at the very least, a bit of politeness wouldn’t go amiss!

Poor spelling leads to this situation for us.

We understand that these calls can be rather irritating, but let’s not forget how challenging things are for these youngsters trying to make a living. So, rather than rudely hanging up on them, let’s show a bit of compassion and recognise the effort they're putting in.

Ah, same old tale, isn't it? Just received a call from 01279406977. A woman from Bright Homes was trying to entice us with a £250 voucher for a new branch they're launching. Then it got a bit odd; she started probing into what we'd use the funds for once they came through. I told her that was rather personal and none of her concern, and lo and behold, she disconnected the call! Quite the cheek!

I simply hung up on her, as it was the same old story. I've enrolled with the Telephone Preference Service, but it appears that these crafty chancers carry on regardless!

Just like others have reported, I received a call in search of someone named Mr. B. Unfortunately, that's not us since all our bills are under my girlfriend's name. We clarified that we're the chaps living here, yet she seemed uninterested in our conversation and mentioned that she'd call me back at a later time. If she does ring again, I'll make sure to note down what she has to say, especially since we've already let them know we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

Just like others have mentioned below, we can't recall signing up for anything with this lot. However, the lady on the phone was rather polite and shared our name and address with us. The moment we expressed our disinterest in the voucher she was promoting and requested to be removed from their database, the call was abruptly cut off. I suspect she might have inadvertently dropped the call on her side. We've tried calling back to wrap things up the right way, but the line seems to be constantly busy. I'll keep trying, though! 😊

Received a call on 13th May 2010 at 15:35, and as soon as I picked up, there was no one there. It’s a bit frustrating, as they didn’t bother leaving a message. Just to add, we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

It seems to be pretty much the same as what others have experienced. Just this past month, I've received three calls stating that a survey from about three months back has been finalised. Quite the coincidence, isn’t it?

Similar to what others have mentioned earlier, we can't recall signing up for anything. Yet, a polite lady did take the time to share our name and address with us. The moment we expressed disinterest in their voucher and requested to be removed from their records, the call abruptly ended. Quite telling, wouldn’t you say?

Merely facing challenges in life doesn’t justify flouting the law. This establishment ought to be put out of business.

I received a call from this number earlier today, on the 20th of November at 09:00. I opted not to pick up, and when I attempted to investigate further, the line was constantly busy. My philosophy has always been to ignore calls from unknown numbers; if the matter were urgent, they'd surely leave a voicemail. There are numerous scams out there these days trying to extract personal information from unsuspecting individuals, so do stay vigilant!

I received a call from this number earlier today, November 20th, 2009, but didn’t pick up. I tried to look into it, but it seems the line is perpetually engaged. We've always lived by the rule of never responding to calls from unfamiliar numbers. If it's genuinely important, they’ll leave a message. It’s astounding how many scams are out there trying to extract personal details. Stay vigilant!

Received a rather chilly call from someone claiming to be from Brights or Brice Homes, all about replacing soffits and the like. The caller was a woman, but there was also a male voice in the background. They had my name, number, and address, which I found a bit concerning. I tracked the number down to 01279406977 by calling 1471. Gave it a go to see who was on the other end, but it was constantly busy. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Very much akin to the previous experience. We received a call from a young lady claiming to represent either Brighthouse or Brighthomes Showrooms, asserting that we had supposedly just filled out a survey for them. We quite courteously denied this and inquired about her place of employment. She then identified herself as part of a house extension improvement enterprise, supposedly promoting for Brighthouse (or Brighthomes). We clarified that we're enrolled in the telephone preference scheme and asked for her name. To our surprise, she fell silent and abruptly ended the call.
