Total scam alert! Someone somehow used Binance's phone number to send me a message, pretending I needed to enter a verification code because there had been a login attempt. The whole thing fell apart when the caller claimed the person trying to break in was “blacklisted.” I never gave my name or any details, so when I asked how he even knew who I was, he just said it was all sorted and then cut me off. Proper dodgy.

However, he bluntly refused, saying he couldn't assist with that. I repeated my request three times, each met with his unwavering refusal. I had a rather chaotic experience the other day with a chap from a call centre. The background noise was absolutely overwhelming! This bloke was determined to pitch me the “best” mobile contract imaginable. He seemed almost frantic to keep me on the line, claiming I could ditch my existing deal without another penny to pay.
