Someone rang me saying they were from Three, trying to sell me an upgrade to the iPhone 13. Seriously, don’t hand over any of your personal info to these folks, no matter how convincing they sound. They’re definitely not from Three or any real phone provider. Also, if the person on the phone never uses your name, it’s probably because they don’t actually know who you are.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Three Mobile, saying they wanted to confirm my number and offer me a plan upgrade that would cost me less monthly, and I could keep the same number. They then connected me to a supervisor who asked for my full name. I just made one up and then ended the call.

Got a call from a guy named Zen, but everytime he mentioned the company, he just muttered it under his breath. Asked him to say it again and he just kept mumbling. After a while he got annoyed, so I just ended the call. Maybe he was saying “three” or “ee” or something like that. Probably just another spam call. If it’s really important, they’ll call back. 😀

I got a call from some place called Caspian Care Technology or something about 3G contracts, claiming they could offer me a cheaper deal. Some bloke rang me, claiming he was from the mobile company Three and had a smashing deal to lower my monthly bill. Felt exactly like a scam to me. He mentioned he was calling from India and wanted me to share my personal info - which makes no sense since if he was legit with Three, they’d already have that. I told him to ring back a bit later as I’d just got in from work. Right after hanging up, I looked up the number here to see if it was dodgy.
