I received a call regarding my O2 contract, and when I mentioned that it was a work phone, the person on the other end began to hurl insults at me. Quite unprofessional, to say the least!

Don't bother calling back, it's a scam to do with the coronavirus.

Woke up to a call really early this morning, someone saying they were from the NHS asking if I’d had all my vaccine boosters and if I have a vaccine passport. Then they just hung up. I was still half asleep and only caught the NHS bit. Usually I’m super careful with these calls so I’m quite annoyed they managed to catch me off guard like that. Proper odd behaviour.

I received a call from this number earlier today, and it was a young lady with an Indian accent. She claimed to be from the NHS COVID DEPARTMENT and was keen to chat about my vaccination status. I have my doubts, though; there's no way this was an official NHS contact!

Got a call claiming something about Covid this time, sounded like a total scam. How do these fraudsters manage to use fake UK landline numbers so easily? Just hung up and blocked them straight away.

Some guy rang me claiming to be from the NHS, and then he went on to nicely clarify it meant National Health Service, probably thinking I might not get it. I cut him off pretty quick though, cause I’m sick to the back teeth with these calls on my landline from all sorts of numbers. It really baffles me that the phone companies aren’t doing more to block these if they really wanted to.

Got a ring from 01277 885738 on my mobile this morning around 11:30. I'm based in Bristol and usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. Didn’t pick up this time either and quickly checked online what the number was. If it was important, I’d expect a voicemail. After seeing what others say about it, I’m gonna block this one for sure.

I didn’t linger on the line to ascertain the caller’s intentions, but straight off the bat, he didn’t jump into conversation after I picked up the phone - a definite red flag in my book for potential scams. He claimed to be from the National Health Service and mumbled something concerning Covid-19. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make out what he was saying, so I decided it was best to end the call.

It was pretty clear from the start it was a call centre, especially since it took a few moments to connect. The person on the other end had a foreign accent and asked for me using my first name. They started talking about Covid or something, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from the "NHS COVID Team," asking if I’d had the vaccine. Then they suddenly wanted to know who my life insurance provider was. I told them I’m not interested and ended the call. They rang me right back and repeated the questions. What a dodgy scam that was.

Just got a suspicious call claiming to check if I've had my covid vaccine, but then suddenly shifted to asking about life insurance stuff. The woman on the phone said her name was Emma and had a strong Indian accent. When I asked where she was getting my info from, she abruptly ended the call. Sounds like another scam going around!

Got a call the other day from a man speaking with a quite thick Indian accent, asked if Angela was available. When I told him she wasn’t, he just ended the call.
