Got a ring from this number claiming to check if my Windows was acting up. My first guess was a scam, so I asked who it was - the bloke said ‘Thomas’ and that he was calling from India. I noted down his number and told him I’d call back later. Honestly, it’s clear how easily some folks could get caught out by these dodgy calls!

Just got a call from this number, and the caller claimed my computer had issues. Felt really dodgy, so I’m putting this down as a scam.

I managed to jot down their number and even some names and an address they gave me. They kept saying they were from Windows, but it sounded fishy.

This number rang me up claiming to be from Windows Service Centre. They said my computer was infected with some virus online and could crash soon. They asked to get into my PC to fix the issue. I just jotted down their number and told them I’d call back if anything went wrong.

Total scam! If you have a PC with Windows or even just the serial number, don’t fall for it. It’s a con to take your money. The number's registered in Bradford and it’s coming through Cable & Wireless. Please report these scammers and help put an end to this!
