I received a call from two individuals, possibly from abroad or of Pakistani descent. They claimed to represent the Tax Office and insisted that I was eligible for a refund. However, they mentioned that they were unable to issue a cheque and could only process the refund digitally, requesting my bank details in the process. I outright refused! One of the chaps mentioned the name Denise Bell, but they didn’t provide any information regarding their manager. Quite fishy, if you ask me!
