They've rung me a few times on my work phone. When I picked up, they just hung up straight away. Tried ringing back but the line was dead, sounded like the number was no longer in service. Pretty sure it's spam, so I've blocked it.

Bloke sounded like he was callin' from some sort of call centre. Was askin' about the old owner of my place. Said he was doing heat loss checks around my street. Told him I wasn’t interested, especially after seein’ what folks have said here.

I received a call from this lot earlier today, but unfortunately I couldn’t answer as I was busy tinkering away in my garage. They didn’t bother to leave a message, which was rather telling. Upon checking another site, I discovered that this number is linked to some dodgy call centre up in Bradford. They fancy themselves as an energy firm that supposedly offers free heat loss assessments and posh green energy solutions, all in a bid to swindle you out of your cash. Thankfully, BT Call Protect is on the case, so they won’t be bothering me again-labelled as an energy scammer, they are!

Really dodgy experience, they claimed to be from an energy company but switched names when I pressed them. Bit worrying as it was about my elderly parents and they seemed to know loads about the house.

Never got the full name of the firm (something Green ---). Told the guy I wasn’t looking to buy anything! He got a bit annoyed, saying I was being rude for not paying attention. I just told him to "buzz off" and ended the call.

Don’t have a clue who they are, as they never bother to leave a message on my voicemail. I called the number back today and after a while, their answerphone kicked in saying it was Paul from the booking office (wherever that is, beats me) and no one could pick up. I cant quite recall the guy's name who phoned me, he said his company EGS had recently taken over doing home thermal checks on behalf of some government dept. He said it was a free survey that would only take about 20 mins and after that they'd give you a written report, supposedly to help plan for the cost of new windows later on. When i asked if there was any catch he said no. I think EGS means Energy Grant Solutions, not the EGS from the Global Group of businesses.

I answered the phone but just stayed quiet. After a while, the call just ended. I think these calls are voice activated or something. Sometimes I just respond in Polish for a laugh! From what I can tell, it was a dodgy energy scam centre from Bradford.

Got a ring from a bloke who said his name was Jamie but then the call dropped before he could say what firm he was with. Guess he spotted my number's on the TPS and decided not to continue. The number showed up as being from Bradford.

Had a call from Jamie at EGS who seemed to know my name. He asked if I was the person living here, so I told him the place was rented, which wasn’t correct. Then he just said 'well, guess you’re not interested then' and I blocked the number.

The caller started by asking if I was Mr ##HHH####. I shot back with 'who is this?' They said it was a company with a three-letter name. Then they asked if I was the homeowner. I asked again, ‘what’s this about?’ And they snapped back, ‘If you ain’t the homeowner, it’s not your concern!’ I was just as firm and said, ‘Then it’s no concern of yours!’ I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
