Got a call saying I'd been in an accident in the past 3 years and there was a cheque waiting for me. When i asked for more info, they just shut down and said they weren't there to answer questions. I told them i only wanted to speak to my insurance company, and then they said they were letting me off because i "didn't deserve anything". Proper dodgy call.

Some bloke rang me saying I'd been in an accident sometime in the past three years. He claimed he couldn't give me any dates because of GDPR rules and asked for info from me. It all felt pretty dodgy, like one of those scam calls or ambulance chasers. He even messed up some of the details I gave, so I just ended the call after confirming my name. I told him to send me an email if he was genuine and that I'd ring back.
