Received a call on the 14th of December, 2017. The caller only knew my first name and inquired about a cat-related incident I had two days prior. When I mentioned I hadn't been behind the wheel for the past four days, they abruptly hung up. Seems like a dodgy scam to me!

Received an identical call only moments ago. The peculiar thing is that they seem to have my last name. What’s the point of inquiring if I’m Miss XXX and then diving into a story about a fictitious accident? Are they trying to verify who I am? It’s all rather suspicious, isn’t it?

Never pick up if you see this number! Some bloke rang me claiming to be from the legal team handling car claims about a fender bender I supposedly had. I told him straight up I wasn’t keen on any of those ‘refund’ schemes and he just flipped out, wishing me a s*** Christmas before slamming the phone down. Proper rude!

Somebody rang and asked for my husband by his name, saying something about an accident. I replied I hadn’t heard anything and asked if it was supposed to have happened today, then they just ended the call. It freaked me out a bit since I couldn’t get through to him afterwards, but turns out it was just a scam.

They actually said my name but then called me a nasty name and just hung up, which was pretty freaky. When I tried calling back, some robot voice kept me waiting forever! Honestly, whoever that is, complete weirdo. Seriously, mate, sort yourself out!
